FAQs of Metal Electrical Box

Of course. If you're planning to install high-powered electronics, such as large light fixtures or ceiling fans, in your home, a metal electrical box would be the best option, as it is resistant to high temperatures and can support heavier electrical loads.

It really depends on what you do with the electrical box. For homeowners, plastic is easier to use because it doesn't require grounding. However, although metal must be grounded, they are more resistant to damage, fire and impact than plastic electrical boxes.

All in all, if you're focused on durability and grounding, a metal electrical box would be a better choice. Conversely, if you are on a budget and using it at home, a plastic box might be a better fit.

Yes, SKKBO offers machining processes and printing techniques to provide customised solutions for metal electrical boxes, including colors, sizes, thicknesses, openings, logos, features, and more.
You don't have to worry about SKKBO's electrical distribution boxes leaking when it rains. Just choose a type with a sealed waterproof strip. This means there won't be any seams for rain to get through to damage your electronics.
