High Protection Grade Metal Electrical Box for Industry and Atomoation
This wall-mounted metal electrical enclosure is designed to hold various types of switchgear and control device components for a variety of electrical installations in commercial and light industrial locations. These enclosures are available in stainless steel or cold rolled steel. With an epoxy powder-coated surface, they are highly resistant to corrosion. Sealed with rubber strips, they are up to IP66 rated and designed for outdoor applications..
Creating long-lasting, durable metal electrical boxes is our top priority. Designed with a precision lock core and a high-strength hinge, it prevents accidental opening or damage from force. The door hinge ensures smooth and repeated operation without damage.
At SKKBO, we understand the importance of easy installation of metal electrical boxes. That is why we have placed galvanized steel or RAL2000 orange mounting plates inside them, facilitating the installation of electrical components and layouts. When you put the box up, the holes on its back that have already been drilled make it easy for you to attach it to the wall.
To ensure the wires are safe and organized, the bottom of the box is equipped with removable knockout holes. During construction, you can remove the knockouts as needed. At the same time, the built-in grounding screws provide a safe grounding path and prevent accidents such as electrocution.
Some of the items included in the supply are enclosures and doors, mounting plates, locking systems, cable gland plates, rubber strips and fixing fittings.

Practical Metal Distribution Box for Home and Commercial Use
Unlike industrial-grade control boxes, this illuminated metal circuit electrical box is designed to be lightweight and easy to install — ideal for residential and light commercial use. Although it also has a metal casing, it is designed with a lightweight plastic panel that is easy to open. The optional transparent panel enables you to check the status of the circuit without opening the box.
Inside, built-in steel DIN rails can be equipped with various modular electrics for the function of terminal power distribution, such as all of SKKBO’s individual modular devices (RCDs, MCBs, RCBOs, switch disconnectors, etc.). There are also reserved knockouts at the top and bottom for the neat and organised wiring of cables and conduits. These features make it suitable for use in residential buildings, non-residential buildings, and industry.

FAQs of Metal Electrical Box
It really depends on what you do with the electrical box. For homeowners, plastic is easier to use because it doesn't require grounding. However, although metal must be grounded, they are more resistant to damage, fire and impact than plastic electrical boxes.
All in all, if you're focused on durability and grounding, a metal electrical box would be a better choice. Conversely, if you are on a budget and using it at home, a plastic box might be a better fit.
