Thoughtfully Designed for Easy Installation and Ease of Use
To meet the installation needs of diverse usages, SKKBO’s plastic electrical boxes are available in various ways: install as a flush mount or surface mount electrical box. The choice depends on your needs and application.
Safety and security are our primary goals. Its self-contained steel DIN rail makes it easy to securely fix circuit breakers and provides reliable protection for your electronics. With dimensions of 350 mm, it is suitable for almost all standard circuit breakers.
For ease of use, the plastic enclosure features a transparent panel so that you can view the internal situation without opening it. The panel is easy to open yet has a fixed snap design to prevent accidental opening when not in use.
Functional and Highly Customizable for Different Needs
Safe and efficient plastic electrical boxes require well-organized wiring and cable connections. SKKBO takes this into account. Our plastic electrical boxes are equipped with multiple knockout holes at the top and bottom, without the need for additional drilling. When you want to connect cables and electrical conduits through the holes as needed, just simply remove the knockouts with a screwdriver.
Furthermore, to ensure that the neutral and ground wires are securely connected, we have installed corresponding built-in bus bars made of high-quality copper. These resist oxidation, prevent loosening and ensure stable current transmission. Its partitioned bus bar design allows ground and neutral wires to be managed separately, so you won’t have to deal with any more wiring issues. It keeps wiring organised and easy to inspect.
Depending on the specific application, available space and functional requirements, our plastic distribution boxes can be customised in terms of colour, material, size, thickness, the number of knockout holes and logo printing. Whether for installation in a home, commercial centre or outdoors, we can create the perfect distribution box to house and protect electronic and electrical components.

FAQs of Plastic Electrical Boxes
The choice between plastic and metal electrical boxes depends on how they are used. Specifically, the main considerations are the type of wiring, the installation environment and the electrical load required.
When to use plastic electrical boxes: Since they are non-conductive, plastic boxes are suitable for non-metallic sheathed cables (Romex). Metallic sheathed cables require grounding through a metal structure. Therefore, metal distribution boxes are a preferable choice when it comes to grounding to critical areas, such as power-heavy kitchens.
Plastic enclousures are also lightweight, easy to install and inexpensive. This provides a simple solution for residential electrical installations. They are suitable for applications with low electrical loads, such as installing switches, outlets and small light fixtures.
However, plastic boxes tend to melt when overheated and are not conducive to installing in high temperature areas, such as near HAVCs. And, plastic enclosures should not be used when the electrical setup involves metal-sheathed cables.
Sure. We offer powder coating process to change the color of plastic distribution box. It is more environmentally friendly than traditional liquid paint. Besides, some other customization options include size, material, panel, knock-out holes, and mounting methods. If you have any questions, we offer professional and free consultation services.
Of course. To effectively prevent water penetration and UV protection, our plastic electrical boxes can be customized with UV resistant materials such as ABS, PC, etc., and equipped with waterproof rubber strips, ideal for outdoor and indoor applications.
Of course. You are free to choose how you want your distribution box to be installed, either surface mounted or concealed.
